This combination of 80% Cabernet Franc and 20% Malbec is more reminiscent of Bordeaux, but we are in the Loire. Nowadays, the right places can also make wonderful wines to keep for a long time. This is a fleshy wine that smells of ripe fruit, plums and has some leather tones. On the palate it has ripe tannins and a long finish.
