Cent Visages, France, Loire
- Loire / France - 2022 -Red
Côt or Malbec in the Loire? Yep, and that from 50-year-old vines! That must produce intense wine. Scents of ripe berries, violets and plums jump out of the glass. On the palate, it is rather rustic at first, but once it gets some air (yes, decanting is allowed!) it reveals itself. On the palate beautiful, ripe tannins are present and silky, depth and a somewhat spicy finish with plenty of freshness.
