Steiner

The Steiner vineyard in Sopron is one of the most prized historical vineyards since the 18th century. The vineyard overlooks Lake Neusiedler and enjoys the lake's special climatic conditions. The vineyard contains pure slate and is an ideal base for wines with storage potential, this Blaufränkisch shows earthy notes, slight notion of truffle and fine red berries and lots of dried herbs. On the palate lots of finesse, complexity but also power from very juicy melded tannins, it is mainly the spiciness that prevails in the wine. A model example that Blaufränkisch is a grape with great potential and belongs to the world class.
