These roots and this vital path have led us to commit to organic farming since the 1990s, in order to be able to produce quality wines that are sustainable, consistent with our surroundings and the environment and, in short, in line with the principles that drive us.
Arriezu Vineyards is a young winery born with the aim of producing the best organic wine with grapes from its own vineyards in the Rioja and Rueda appellations.
It has 72 hectares of its own vineyards in San Adrián under the Rioja DOC, including the "Los Mejicanos" estate, a 43-hectare plot overlooking the Ebro valley and a sea of vineyards. Interestingly, this estate is the source of more than 25% of the current DOC Rioja vineyards, as for many years it has been an inexhaustible source of vine shoots for wine nurseries.
