The estate, created in 2003, was born from the passion for wine of Ludwig Bindernagel and Nathalie Eigenschenck. With a "band of friends" and a lot of enthusiasm, they became from their first vintage an essential reference of Jura wines. The vines, most of which are 40 to 50 years old, are the domain's asset. They produce wines of great concentration, guaranteeing the success of the estate. These vines constitute a heritage resulting from a passionate selection by the elders, currently being studied to counteract the genetic impoverishment caused by the planting of clones over the last 30 years. They include old varieties such as red-tailed Chardonnay, yellow Savagnin and black Savagnin, the Jura relative of Pinot Noir, as well as scattered vines of old varieties currently being identified.
