De Cort is a real, perhaps the only, hot distillery in the Pajottenland, the Zenne Valley and far beyond. This means that they still have a real still and that they make their alcohol themselves from agricultural raw materials. The stills are 600 and 5000 litre Arnold Holsteins to produce as pure and smooth a product without losing flavour. They are not called the Rolls-Royce of stills for nothing.

For Many De Cort, they created their distillery certainly not for being rich, because making your own alcohol is expensive and requires a lot more time, knowledge, installation and especially passion. It is also a factor in which much more can go wrong. Bad fermentation, too cold, too hot, time of year... all elements that can go wrong, but when it doesn't, it does make each batch a little unique.
