The estate has 13.5 hectares of Cabernet Franc, the king of the Chinon appellation. It allows the family to produce magnificent Chinon Rosé and Chinon reds. As well as 0.5 ha of Chenin blanc, which allows them to produce a few bottles of the rare Chinon Blanc. The Domaine de la Marinière has 3 main types of terroir: -the plain vines, gravelly terroir, -the vines at the foot of the slopes, gravel soil resting on deep limestone, -the hillside vines, they are based on limestone, there is a little flint clay at the top of the hillsides.
