Domaine Entre-Deux-Monts
Martin Bacquaert
The name says it all: Entre-Deux-Monts is located between two mountains. More specifically: the characteristic Red Mountain and Black Mountain of the Hill Country. The estate itself is the result of three generations: grandfather owned the land there, father came up with the idea of starting a vineyard and son Martin Bacquaert, as a wine grower, had the necessary knowledge to make something beautiful out of it. Today, they mainly produce sparkling wine there, but also red and white wines. Since 2005, winemaker Martin Bacquaert has been making (mainly) sparkling wine here, but white and red wines are also part of the production. It was father Yves, active in the liquor trade for many years, who recommended Martin to start working as a wine grower in the Heuvelland region. Today, Martin works full-time in the vineyard, while Yves helps market the wine and shows visitors around.
