Domaine Mondange
Jean Mondange
Jean Mondange, president of the Coopérative Viticole de Saint-Antoine, owns family vineyards planted on the Ghisonnaccia plain, in the Fium'Orbu foothills. Taking advantage of the large dimensions of the house he built there many years ago (in particular the garage with its high shed-like appearance - which houses a brand new vat room - and its basement), he founded Domaine Petra Fessa with his children Laura and Andria in 2017 with the ambition of gradually vinifying new qualitative parcel-based cuvées themselves rather than entrusting the entire harvest to the local cooperative. His two children resigned from their respective jobs and, taking advantage of the "Young Farmer" installation scheme, took over the management of this new venture under the name of Domaine Mondange. A new cellar has also been built to better mature the wine made from the endemic grape varieties planted on the best plots and to welcome visitors. Laura and Andria Morange are supported by Jean Mondange and benefit from the technical advice of Aurélie Patachini.
