Georges Descombes has become one of the "masters" of natural Beaujolais. He began by working in a bottling company, which allowed him to taste the wines of the great names of Beaujolais. The revelation came with Marcel Lapierre. In 1988, he took over the family estate. With little intervention for more than twenty years, he wants each terroir to express itself: little or no addition of sulphur, cooling of the harvest, the wines of the estate evolve towards greater purity and more expressive fruit.
