A former banker, Eric Cordelle and his wife settled in the Vercors to launch a top-of-the-range organic whisky distilled at low temperature. A way to differentiate themselves in a crowded market.
The Vercors Distillery is located in an old 16th century farm. It is the only French whisky distillery whose bottlings are certified in Organic Agriculture and distilled at low temperature. The "Nautilus" wash still distills gently at only 50°C, instead of the usual 100°C. This sublimates the aromas of the malted barley and gives this Whisky elegant and subtle aromas, rich in seductive fruity and floral notes.
