Wijndomein Beau Marais
Andries Schepers

Andries Schepers still views wine estate Beau Marais, which he runs with his wife, as a hobby that got out of hand. They have invested a lot in this "hobby" over the years and although it is still not their main occupation, they produce some 10,000 bottles a year. A real business, therefore, run with utmost professionalism.
In a former horse stable in Koersel, a borough of Beringen, they vinify their wines, and a stylish but cosy tasting room was also set up. For vinification, they sought the advice of a French oenologist, who gained experience mainly in the Champagne region. At Beau Marais they mainly work with Chardonnay and the various Pinot varieties, an ideal match.
