Burgenland (Veltelini)
- Burgenland / Austria - 2021 -White
Made from the well-known Austrian grape Grüner Veltliner, the Burgenland province is a border region between Austria and Hungary that emerged after World War I. It has a very appealing aroma with exotic fruit, citrus, and blossom. Don’t let its exotic nose fool you—in taste, it is rather fresh and mineral. The calcareous soil gives this wine a pronounced salty character and clean contours, with a lovely tension in the finish.
food pairing: vitello tonnato, steak tartare, hot seafood preparations.
