Late harvest is the new, more modern style of sweet wines from Hungary. The residual sugar content is much lower than the Aszú wines but the high acidity typical of Furmint grape is definitely present and results in a fresh sweet wine with exotic notes like pineapple, mango and some spiciness like vervein. Pairs perfectly with pear, blue cheese, spicy asian dishes and fruit based desserts
