La Rochelle

A deep red colour that immediately betrays that we are dealing with a serious Beaujolais here. 2015 was a warmer year so we find black fruit, ripe red pit fruit and liquorice in the nose. Broad and mouth-filling palate with a long finish. The wood is nicely interwoven and the tannins are ripe and supple. It is best to decant the wine a few hours beforehand.
