Tobias Branco, Dão DOC

Organically grown and with minimum intervention, Alvaro Castro produces this juicy white wine with lively aromas reminiscent of ripe fruit, stony minerality and good structure. This wine is produced with low-intervention methods, featuring a 6-hour maceration, minimal sulfite use, natural sediment settling, and no filtration before bottling. It is aged briefly in new barriques and for six months in used barriques.

Quinta da Pellada, the producing estate, is a prestigious winery in the Dão region, led by Alvaro Castro, a prominent figure in Portuguese winemaking.
