The Somló is a unique place, a volcanic hill in the middle of the plain and planted with vineyards in all directions. The young Oliver Weingartner returned to his native region after years of experience at foreign estates (oa Brundelmayer) to start his own vineyard.
The soil is volcanic and always provides very nice zesty, fruity acids as well as a pure, salty finish.

A manual harvest followed by whole-press fermentation on fine lees, unfiltered, no added sulphites. Fruity and mineral.
